Comment on the Sales Listings Yourself

March 24th, 2011

For almost the last year, I’ve been able to post my comments on each of the M Coupes currently on the market. I realize that’s kind of selfish of me and other people have thoughts and information to share as well. So now it’s your turn. At the bottom of each of the sales listings there is now a Facebook comment box (don’t worry you don’t have to actually post your comments on Facebook if you don’t want to). Please feel free to share your thoughts, exclamations, additional details, etc. I just ask that you don’t post anything you wouldn’t want posted on your own sales listing.

Bravo, Jon. I’ve been curious of others opinions of a few Coupes, and wanted to post my own a few times.

    Hi Jon,

    Love your site.

I’ve been lusting after the Z3 M Coupe since I first laid eyes on one in 2002. I was in Santa Monica on business and had rented a 911 to tool around the canyon roads in for the week I was there. I was behind this car I couldn’t make out. It had the toughest looking rear end I’d ever seen and it was walking away from me in the tight and twisties. Granted, whoever was driving could probably drive those canyon roads in their sleep but my interest was definitely peaked. Shortly after that incident I was at the BMW dealership in Des Moines and I got a chance to see several of the cars up close. I should have bought one right then and there but – for whatever reason, I didn’t and I’ve been regretting it since.

I’m now in the market and I have obviously stumbled onto your site. I think it’s a great resource and I check for new listings just about every day.

My 2006 e46 M3 is TiAg silver with black leather interior. I’m looking forward to parking a Z3 M Coupe with the same engine right next to it but . . . I don’t want it to have the identical color scheme. I’m hoping for a 2001/2002 steel gray with black interior but will likely settle for red or black with all black interior.

In the mean time, I’d like to contribute ($) to your website efforts in appreciation.

Send me a pm and let me know how this can be arranged.

    Sincerely,

    S

    Hi Jon,

    Great website!
Without your passion for this car, I wouldn’t be the proud owner of a 1999 M Coupe!
I have been looking casually for a few years, but got to the point where I couldn’t wait any longer. I have seen a few Coupes running around Boston, and I then got serious about getting one when the owner of a Boston Green Coupe told me about your site.
The 1999 Cosmos Black (“Z4”)Coupe at Norwood BMW sold for the asking price after being on the lot for 10 days.
I bought the 1999 Coupe that was listed for $9000 on EBay out of Hopkington MA for the asking price as well. It needs a few repairs, but it is straight, clean and tight.
    Thanks again for your efforts!!
