6/30/12 Update - Added a new photos showing it with the brand new roadstars.
6/17/12 Update - One more update from the seller:
About a year & a half ago, in normal driving, the coupe went into limp home mode. Had it taken to BMW North Scottsdale (a great dealership with a very knowledgeable tech who races M Coupes) where they diagnosed a bad ignition coil. There was a BMW tech notice about the original coils ( reported to be Italian--Marelli??). All 6 coils were replaced with the upgraded Bosch coils.
4/24/12 Update - Added a detail photos of the 19" Stern Touring Chrome wheels as well as one with the new roadstars
4/23/12 Update - Posted some photo of the very original interior. The seats are very well done, and it also has black carpet.
4/23/12 Update - Seller sent me some more photos in a video slideshow. It is in very good condition. The interior actually looks great as the seller has also recovered the seat centers and door panels in black leather. Along with the carbon trim, it gives it much more of a two-tone interior look than the typical beige interior. While I still don't like the chrome, the wheels also look pretty cool in the other photos.
Black sapphire over beige is a pretty rare color combo with just 17 made. It looks to be in great condition with only 30,000 miles, but there's only one photo posted at the moment. The new OEM wheels and tires are a nice plus. The chrome wheels looks familiar, but I'm not quite sure what they are off the top of my head. I'd love to see an interior photo as it sounds like he'd done carbon fiber trim to give the beige a little more of a two-tone look.
