Seller Description

No history of accidents, bodywork, paintwork etc. Even though the car has the 118k, you'd NEVER guess it. Interior is 100% perfect. Besides some minor blemishes, the exterior is excellent as well. Always garaged, no winters so has not seen salt/snow, rarely even seen rain. The pictures basically show some of the minor exterior imperfections. The car has never had any real paintwork/bodywork. No accidents. Engine runs perfectly. Doesn't leak or burn a drop. It's stock except for a few items. It has 4 new Bilstein Shocks, new rear upper mounts. Transmission was serviced in the last few thousand miles and shifts/feels like new. Also replaced all the transmission bushings while down there. New clutch as well. New short shifter (UUC) which works fantastic, have the stock one as well. Car shifts like butter. This was all done within the past 4k miles. Car would come with a stock shift knob. The current one you see has some specific engraving so I'll be keeping that. Lastly...everything on the car works. No dash lights on, no electrical gremlins, NOTHING. Regular maintenance and oil changes with synthetic only. Needs nothing. Asking $15,900 obo I'm convinced you cannot find a cleaner MCoupe for less than this. Unlike other BMW's I've been in of this vintage, this car just feels, runs, drives, shifts, looks, and feels like new. Nothing in the interior coming apart, is worn, etc...nothing. Car is located in Palm Coast, FL.

My Comments

Sold 9/23/10 - Thanks to Bazzy who noticed this sold months ago. I guess they forgot to take down their AutoTrader listing.

6/10/10 Update - New photos posted and updated description.

Despite the high miles, it sounds like it has been well maintained and is in good shape. Be sure to ask if the seller has replaced the waterpump or anything in the cooling system as those items are due around this mileage. This car was listed on Bimmerforums by the son of the owner so you know it comes from a good BMW-loving home.
