Sold 8/14/10 - Listing were removed. I'm guessing it sold. I was wrong last time, so only time will tell.
8/6/10 Update - Ebay auction ended with a high offer of $24,321 that expired.
7/30/10 Update - Relisted on Ebay with a Buy-It-Now of $26,000. On AutoTrader at $25,800. Seems like a pretty decent price to me. There are a couple new photos on the Ebay listing.
7/11/10 Update - I saw the following posted on Bimmerforums:
This car is advertised on Auto Trader right now for $29,000. I was going to buy it, based on description, pics, clear history, sunroof-delete, and the assurance of the owner that the car was 100% original with no paint or body repairs. Well, when I checked the car with my paint meter, I discovered that the left rear quarter has a considerable amount of body filler, and the entire left side of the car, side of roof and hood had been painted. The repairs were nicely done, and it's not a bad car, but not worth what a 100% original car is worth. I would hate for someone else to waste their airfare without knowing all of this. BTW, the driver's seat is worn; a lot more than you'd think for a 45k mile car.
6/30/10 Update - Listed on Ebay with Buy it Now of $29,000
6/27/10 Update - Price drop to $29,000 from $31,000
6/3/10 Update - Ebay listing ended and I don't see that they got any offers this time around.
5/27/10 Update - Relisted on Ebay $31,000 or best offer
5/22/10 Update - Price drop to $31,000 from $32,000
5/21/10 Update - Ebay auction ended with no takers at the $32,000 buy-it-now and a highest offer of only $24,000.
While there are 82 Estoril Blue with black interior coupes only 13 of them have the S54 engine and only 6 of those are sunroof-delete. This car seems to be pretty well taken care of, but judging by the description, the owner is not a hardcore M Coupe enthusiast like some. The price is also on the high side for the mileage.
