2/11/12 Update - Another first hand review and PPI by Haurys Collision:
The bad: Head gasket leaking slightly Needs new brakes all around Weird, very very ugly piece of wood glued to the dash. Needs new dash from what I can tell Needs new clutch and possibly shifter. Does not shift easily Tires bald, dangerously so (worst on inside rear) Careful test driving this one Center console very loose All tools and tow hook missing Trim rubber around driver door in bad shape Airbag light was on (reset by mechanic, probably nothing but worth noting) Interior panel in trunk is really loose Steering pulls a bit at higher speeds Shifting knob just sits on shaft. Not attached Both doors don’t close quite right. Just a little off The good: Body looks to be in good shape. Was raining (of course), but couldn’t really see any scratches other than under the front bumper No cracks on the subframe. Has not been reinforced. There are a few extra tack welds, but the mechanic didn’t see how they would really help Even with all these problems it was still fun to drive and I would buy it if the price were correct.

10/31/11 Update - A firsthand review:
I just test drove it today at lunch and the car is a little rough: 1. Some sort of wood is glued onto the dash and looks horrible! 2. Air dam on the front left near the ground is cracked and has paint coming off in chunks(not visible in pictures) 3. Previous owner has a $500 bill for paint and body work to the passenger door. Not obvious now 4. Due to that damage while making harder turns you can hear something rattling around in the passenger door. 5. Also there is something near the passenger footwell that makes a hissing noise constantly. I'm going to guess this is a incorrectly hooked up speaker 6. I got it up 75mph and there is a bit of a pull coming from the front right tire. More than likely this coupe has the original suspension and may need to be replaced. 7. Shifter is trashed and needs to be replaced 8. Gills and rear //M emblem need to be replaced 9. The roadstars may have some custom paint on them. They are not chrome shadow or OEM alloy finish(on my 98) 10. BFGoodrich tires are fairly worn, not new 11. Some hesitation under acceleration compared to my 98' roady. May need plugs or fuel filter 12. While under the ownership of the dealership somebody hit 2 dogs with the car They will not budge on price.
