I am the third enthusiast owner. The car has been in the SF Bay Area since purchased by the original owner at Peter Pan BMW in San Mateo, CA. The car accident free, has always been garaged, and driven as a pleasure vehicle.
Recent full BMW Inspection II service performed by Phaedrus in SF (check out their stellar Yelp! reviews).
The car has no leaks (coolant, oil, or otherwise), and the cooling system functions perfectly. Also, the air conditioning functions perfectly as well.
The car is 100% stock, except for the following:
* I installed the glove box reinforcement kit (Z3's commonly have floppy glove boxes)
* I added the BMW CD32 headunit. One note about the BMW CD32 headunit - it swallowed the first CD I attempted to play... and will not eject or play the CD. Hence, CD unit needs some attention to get it working properly - radio works fine. I still have the original BMW w/ Cassette deck seen in the pictures - radio codes for both units.
* Installed the LeatherZ Mark2+ Armrest - Complete Unit with Large Storage Base
