My Comments

Sold 12/8/10 - Looks like Enthusiast Auto bought it.

8/20/10 Update - Added a new listing on BMW CCA at $29,500. The Craigslist listing continues to say $27,500 however. The weird thing is that the BMW CCA listing has a different phone number, says it's in Massachusetts rather than New Hampshire, and has 40,500 miles rather than 43,000 miles. I'm sure it's the same car though. His new listing gives some more details on the modifications but not as much about the condition, so I added under the text from his Craigslist listing.

8/4/10 Update - Price reduced to $27,500 from $28,900. The seller also added a couple more photos.

Looks like a great car. Don't let the engine replacement concern you. Some early S54 engines experienced bearing failure and BMW has replaced them under warranty. I assume this is the case here which means one less thing to have to worry about. It seems like a good price given the newer engine, low miles in general, and nice modifications.
