Seller Description

I've been going back and forth on what to do with this car for the last few weeks... Basically, I bought this M Coupe a few months ago when I needed a less expensive car that I was going to drive year round (cashed out some equity in my e46 M3) since I was planning on finishing up my degree and not working for a while. Well my situation has changed for the better... I'm back in the workforce, I have a truck for winter now, and I am considering getting back in to another S54 M Coupe (2001-2002) as a fair weather car.

For those who do not know what this car is: there were less than 3000 M Coupes made between 1999-2002. This model has the same s52 motor found in the e36 M3 and produces 240hp. It is easily one of the most fun cars out there and looks much newer than it is. I constantly get people asking me if it is a new model.

I'm looking to get $14000 with stock wheels (Enkeis available at additional cost). This is in Canadian funds.

Some details about my car:

2000 BMW M Coupe
-Titanium Silver exterior.
-Black interior.
-80k miles.
-2 Previous owners.
-No subframe damage at all.
-Full structural and mechanical inspections done 500 miles ago when I imported it. No issues at all.

Modifications:
-3.46 diff (perfect for this car IMO)
-FK Silverline coilovers.
-Enkei RPF1 wheels with Pirelli Pzero Nero tires (+$1k).

Now, the car does have a rebuilt title due to very minor damage sustained on the passenger side. I have pictures showing how minimal the damage was, and a copy of the insurance claim showing only estimated $3700 damage but they decided to write it off anyways. Damage was only to replacable panels: rear fender, side skirt, and front fender were replaced, and a small crease in the hood was repaired. NO suspension / frame damage.

I feel this is the best value M Coupe on the Canadian market currently. There are Coupes out there that sustained significantly more damage that don't carry a branded title.

I'm not looking for trades unless you have a 2001-2002 M Coupe.

My Comments

Sold 4/9/11 - Sold already. It must have been priced well :-).

This coupe is back on the market already with some nice modifications and a Canadian registration. I wouldn't worry about the salvage title at all. It drives great as evidenced by the owners cross continent road trip in it just a few months ago (documented on Bimmerforums). He's correct in that it is by far the best priced M Coupe in Canada right now. Help a coupe owner upgrade :-).
