New listing now priced at $8,500 down from $9,500. It also mentions a new valve cover gasket and clutch. It would make a great daily driver for the price.

Added some much better photos. It does need some TLC but the newish looking radiator and clean engine bay are encouraging.

It does have a sunroof

It was brought to my attention that we already know where the one and only 1999 dakar yellow over black sunroof-delete is: here. So I guess for this one:

  • Actually has gray interior and just doesn’t look like it in photos
  • Actually a 2000 (I see a hint of chrome ring in the head light, but the kidney grilles don’t have the chrome strips)
  • Has a sunroof and it just doesn’t look like it.
  • Imported from outside North America

I'm going to try and get the VIN tonight to verify.

The miles are pretty high, but man it would be a fun daily driver. It appears to be a sunroof-delete too! I'm sure it probably needs a little TLC, but I think the price is fair.
