Seller Description

You are bidding on a 1999 BMW Z3 M Coupe. The one and only legendary "Clown Shoe"! If you've had your eye on the market for a while, you know these are quickly becoming a cult classic in the car world, and are beginning to demand collector-car prices. Car will be listed/publicized elsewhere, so it may not last the entire auction. If you're a serious buyer, please give me a call, or contact through ebay/email. Car was purchased in 2012 from long-term 2nd owner with around 40K miles, now sitting at about 53,900. Good ownership history, with dealership maintenance and no accidents. Car has been stored during winters, driven sparingly in inclement weather, and will come with a custom-fit indoor car cover.

Exterior: Beautiful Estoril Blue; Best color for Z3 M Coupes, in my opinion. Great overall condition, no accidents, all VIN tags intact. Front fascia encountered highway debris a few years ago resulting in a crack. Damage wasn't that bad, but I opted for a new pre-primed BMW replacement, and had it professionally resprayed by a trusted local painter. Excellent color match and paint quality. Few nicks/chips here and there; few minor dings on lower body. Nothing that detracts from the overall appearance of the car, but i'm extremely picky. Front fascia side markers color-matched. OEM wheels have been professionally stripped and polished, very cool look.

Interior: Blue/black two-tone interior. Very nice condition. Pretty minor/normal wear on driver's side bolster. See interior pics. Aftermarket AC Schnitzer pedal set.

Mechanical: 3.2 inline 6, car has always ran great and been very reliable. Fuel stabilizer always used for seasonal storage. Regular oil changes using either BMW or Liqui-Moly oil, and either BMW, MANN, or Mahle filters. Pads and rotors are new within the past 6 months, brake lines upgraded to stainless steel, and brake fluid is high performance ATE. Tires are also pretty much new, Sumitomo HTRZIII (OEM sizes). Rogue Engineering rear shock mounts. Just recently changed engine oil/filter, supercharger oil, spark plugs, and o2 sensor. Car is also equipped with an upgraded OEM BMW S54 radiator.

Supercharger: VF Engineering "VF350" kit. 6.0 PSI boost. Vortech V3 Si SQ. 350hp/300tq. Very safe and reliable kit, from a very reputable company with a lot of experience in forced induction. Kit has been installed for about 1.5 years, plenty of long road trips, etc... Always been very happy with it. Fuel consumption doesn't suffer that bad depending on driving habits. Kit is reversible; I have the miscellaneous OEM intake parts, and the ECU would need reflashed to stock settings.

Please take the time to review the description and pictures, don't hesitate to call for questions, and i'll also keep a close eye on my ebay messages. I can help out with shipping logistics if necessary; I know a good company for enclosed transport. Purchase details: 25% non-refundable deposit due within 3 days of auction close, balance due within 7 days or vehicle pickup, whichever comes first. Car sold as/is. No warranties/refunds implied.

Just $22,500 on Bimmerforums now. That's bordering on a great deal.

Buying a coupe from a known enthusiast is always a pretty safe bet. The price as it sits is mid to high $20ks, so I just put in $27,500. The three sets of wheels are a big plus, and with the supercharger, his estimate of $10-12k in modifications is not exagerating. I think the price is fair.
