My Comments

Sold 12/21/12 - Sold!

11/18/12 Update - A great write-up from Bruce:

I did an extensive drive around today and the vehicle needs a lot of work. Clutch, brakes, front wheel bearings, u-joints maybe, replace front windshield, frame slightly bent from t-bone accident, differential growling, sun damaged paint. Inside controls and electronics all function, A/C blows cold air, radio is locked, rims have some damage that can be repaired, tires about half, needs shocks and bushings. Driver door is still jammed and will need work to function properly. Other minor body damage can be fixed without replacing panels, but there's a bit of it to do. Repaint is indicated. Motor seems okay, no smoke, good acceleration, no knocks, pings, etc. An oil chemistry check would be in order. Dealer has no idea of vehicle status. This one seems an expensive restoration. Value if properly maintained, given sunroof delete, would be around 14-17k, to me at least. Ask would have to be significantly less than listed. An expert mechanic might find more things to address. Personally, I think it is worth only slightly more than salvage. Still, it's an Mcoupe and a great fun ride!

9/3/12 Update - Added a few new photos and it appears to now be at an area dealership at $14,999 down from $15,000

8/22/12 Update - It's been relisted, so it must not have sold last week. Still at $15,000

Sold 8/17/12 - Listing removed; looks like it sold.

7/19/12 Update - Confirmed that it does have a salvage title. It was hit in the passenger door. Thanks for the update Tim.

Always cool to come across a sunroof-delete. It appears to be pretty much stock besides the tint. I can't see anything obviously wrong with it, so it seems like a pretty good deal.
