Seller Description

2000 BMW M Coupe with just under 56k miles. Runs, Drives and looks great. Interior/Exterior is estoril blue. Paint overall is in good shape, there are a few rock chips on the front portion of the hood. It's slightly lowered. Interior is in good condition. The seats look great, I've been extra cautious about getting in and out of the car to prevent bolster damage. All the electronics work properly: A/C, power & heated seats, power windows, sunroof, auto-dimming rear view mirror, ASC, CD Player, 6 disc changer, lights, etc. Strong engine. The intake manifold was swapped with an OBDI version. I've put about 23k miles on the car over the last three years. Have used BMW 10x60 Castrol Oil and filters. Registration paid this month. It's been super reliable and a joy to drive, but I have too many cars right now.

Prior owner blew a tire and hit a guard rail on the passenger side. Door and rear panel were replaced, the hood was repaired. As a result, the car received a salvage title.

My Comments

Sold 6/28/12 - Sold to Duncan for $12,700. Congrats!

6/26/12 Update - Seller is looking to get $13,500 which is probably fair. He probably won't get it on Ebay though.

6/21/12 Update - Bidding ended at just $10,100 which did not meet the reserve.

I'm not really a fan of the color-matched wheels, but the rest of the car actually looks really good. The interior is in great shape including the driver seat bolster. The salvage title is a bummer, but it seems to be repaired well. It's a good sign that the seller has specific details on the cause of the title. I'm not sure what the reserve is, but could potentially be a good deal from somebody.
